SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS
FOR THE TOWN OF NEW HOPE
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2023 Budget of the Town of New Hope, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the North New Hope Church, 845 County Road T North, this Special Town Meeting of the Electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(c) of Wis. Stat., by the Town Board for the following purposes:
1. To approve the total highway expenditures for 2023 pursuant to Sec. 81.01(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
2. To adopt the 2022 town tax levy to be paid in 2023 pursuant to sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.

NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION
Town of New Hope, Portage County
April 4, 2023
There will be an election to be held in the Town of New Hope, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed:
Town Board Chairperson Todd Knepfel
Town Board Supervisor Daniel Zaborowski
Town Board Supervisor Timm Raddatz
Town Clerk George Guyant
Town Treasurer Dorene Stolpa
All terms are for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Caucus for Candidates
Between December 1st, 2022 and January 1st, 2023, a date for the town caucus will be scheduled to nominate candidates to appear on the spring election ballot for the above listed offices. The caucus will be held between January 2nd and January 21st. Notice of the scheduled date of the caucus will be given at least five (5) days before the caucus.
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
