TOWN OF NEW HOPE BOARD ACTION, PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of the Town of New Hope, Portage County, Wisconsin, will be holding a Public Hearing on proposed amendments to its Comprehensive Plan on April 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at North New Hope Church located at 845 County Road T North, Amherst Junction, WI 54407.
Thomas Trzinski, applicant, requests an amendment of the Town of New Hope Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation on the Future Land Use Map for 10 acres of the 36.64 acre lot parcel number 026-24-1007-15.02 from L2 General Ag to L3 Limited Ag/Mixed Use. A request has been made to change the zoning for the same 10 acres of the 36.64 parcel from A1 Exclusive Agricultural Zoning to A2 Agricultural Transition District.
The Town of New Hope Plan Commission voted ayes 4, nays 0 on February 27, 2020 to recommend approval of this amendment to the Town of New Hope Comprehensive Plan, and sent a resolution to the Town Board. The Town Plan Commission also recommended approval of the rezoning request, contingent upon adoption of the Comprehensive Plan amendment, at the February 27, 2020 meeting. Both recommendations will be on the agenda of the April 21, 2020 Town of New Hope Board meeting.

Town of New Hope Notice of Annual Meeting

 Notice is hereby given to all interested residents in the Town of New Hope that the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at North New Hope Church, 845 County Road T N, Amherst Junction. The agenda to include but is not limited to: annual Financial Report and any other concerns of the Town residents which may be brought up.
